This week on ATGN Jay from An Elegant Weapon joins us as we talk…gardening? Tis the season folks, as the weather is nice and its time to get those gardens started! A lot of our news this week is Star Wars related, so its a good thing we had one of the AEW boys here to help us out.

We have also decided that we are cutting down to 90 minutes of airtime, which means that we will be ending our shows a bit earlier for our live viewers. You can still catch us live at our usual time of 11am Eastern/10am Central, but we’ll be ending at 12:30/11:30. Is this good or bad? Let us know!

ATGN suffered a blow as Naki took the time this week to go to West Virginia and kill Chris, then promoted guest host Ferg to his position as the Chris of the group today. Ryan also returned, filling in for the bald position. We discussed the demise of the Google Reader, School of Thrones, Bautista taking on the role as Drax the Destroyer in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie and what would happen if Gaben and The Rock died at the exact same time.

This weeks game was Kill Bang Marry, and trust us, its a doozy.

Today on ATGN we had double the guest hosts as Jeanette of GonnaGeek.com and Sean of An Elegant Weapon join us. We talked a lot of comics, especially with Jason Momoa being rumored to be Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy and the end of The Death of the Family arc in the DC Universe. There are some spoilers, so if you haven’t read the arc yet and are planning on it, there might be 5 minutes you want to skip. We talked a lot about gaming and new hardware that is available, along with how Microsoft could market their new Surface tablet more.

Our resident @ChiTownSpidey Peter swooped in to grace us with his knowledge on ATGN this week, as we talked about The Rock and his new role as Lobo, our crew was questioned and the Rumble Pit takes on Batman vs…Batman?

Chris and Adahy did the unthinkable and brought up Michael Bay more than once, thus proving that the 4th Transformers movie is going to be made. This time, we’re going to space!

We weighed in on LucasArts new first person shooter, and if it will be a new Battlefront, or a brand new line of Star Wars games. We also talked about how Halo 4 will have surface tablet integration. The announcement of the newest Batman game being set in the Golden Age Batman era took hold, with Mark Hamill saying he will not return as The Joker, who do you think will be up for the big villain in this game?

In this weeks episode of All Things Good and Nerdy, we had our first ever dual guest hosts, with brothers Dan and Jeremy Eden of EEK Theater Company. Most of this weeks news comes from San Diego Comic Con, where a Firefly reboot was discussed, along with Blood and Chrome being revived. In gaming news, Borderlands 2 has hit us with a large stream of news including over 59 hours of professional game time, leaving us casual gamers with a lifetime of gameplay ahead. Gears of War: Judgement was announced with a release date as well! We talked about the upcoming Marvel movies and what we’re most excited to see next. Chris went into Super Dick Mode about the lack of power phrase in The Amazing Spider-Man, with help of the newest Avenger comic.

This wee k’s podcast was a little bit of everything (including the unofficial new segment of Naki Being Creepy) and will be an interesting one for the books. Next week is our Batman Special Edition week, with the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises we’ll have some special giveaways including Lego Batman 2 for PS3 and tickets to see Holy Bouncing Boobies! ATGN 012 - Who Doesn’t Like Making Sex?

This week our guest host is Trin, @TrinandTonic, our champion rapper and insight extraordinaire! She’s been so awesome as to offer us an ATGN rap, which we look forward to in the future!!

The crew talked about Amazing Spider-man and the theories of the Mysterious Man in the credit scene. Naki and Trin discussed their love of Andrew Garfield’s chocolate hair, and how Gwen Stacy is now an adorable kitten. Tell us what you thought of the flick!

We then got into The Rumble Pit, Indiana Jones vs. Malcolm Reynolds. It was a long, tough discussion, bringing in some comments from our Facebook and Twitter pages…but you’ll have to listen to see who won out in the end.

Trin and Chris discussed the Mass Effect 3 DLC that was released, and if it was enough to pacify the enraged fans of the Mass Effect series. Adahy proved yet again that EA is a horrible company.

We also announced some new segments we’re adding into the show! ATGN 009 - Shut Up EA Will Hear You!

This week sees the premiere of All Things Good And Nerdy Episode 009 - Shut Up EA Will Hear You! We’re the best podcast that no one is listening to! Want to know where the episode title came from? I guess you better tune into the podcast!

This week we continued with our E3 wrap up. The first half of the show was dedicated to discussing E3 revelations and impressions. To start off was the news of Microsoft’s Smart Glass app for tablets and smartphones. On top of that was the announcement from Microsoft that the Xbox 360 should have a life through 2014.

Other gaming topics included Final Fantasy VII coming to the PS Vita and Apple stating they would not be entering the console gaming arena. We also learned early this morning that some League of Legends servers were hacked potentially compromising PII. If you play, make sure your info is safe and change your passwords!

Probably the most fun part was giving Adahy a chance to respond to the EA and Valve confrontation over price cuts. His opinion is well worth hearing and I won’t spoil it.

Before moving into the movie and TV show topics we discussed the fact there are still ‘zombie-like’ episodes occurring throughout the world. Its freaky as all hell!

There was a lot of news about upcoming movies. The Dark Knight Rises has a runtime announced and DC has announced they have greenlit more superhero movies. The question is, are these the smart movie choices? There was also a discussion on the new Pixar movie Wreck it Ralph.

The panel was all over this week in their discussion and a variety of topics were touched upon. The big news first was the discussion of E3 taking place next week. The panel took the time to make their predictions about what would come out of E3. Some predictions were crazier than others. It was also interesting to note that many game announcements had leaked already. Most notable God of War 4 and a new Gears of War game.

The panel also discussed DC Comics announcement that Alan Scott was coming out of the closet. From there The Dark Knight Rises was discussed, specifically the tiny hope that Chris Nolan and Christian Bale might make another Batman film.

It was also observed that zombies appear to be eating people in real life and this is all because of bath salts. Sounds like it might be time to prepare for the Zombie apocalypse.

To wrap the show possible Iron Man 3 spoilers were discussed so be careful. To be honest this was a fun and crazy show and the panel was all over the map. It was a lot of fun!

This week sees the premiere of All Things Good And Nerdy Episode 006 - We Play For Keeps. Want to know where the episode title came from? I guess you better tune into the podcast!

The panel was all over this week in their discussion and a variety of topics were touched upon. The show started with the panel addressing the current trend of zero-day DLC and how many companies seem to be embracing this plan in an effort to squeeze a few more dollars out of gamers. Next up was a discussion of how big comic companies like Marvel and DC have announced upcoming stories revolving around gay characters. The common consensus is this seems like a cash grab. If a character is gay that’s great, but the companies should focus on telling good stories not publicity.

Next up was a quick review of Men In Black 3 as most of the panel had seen the movie. The consensus was that MIB 3 is a fun summer movie and its worth checking out. However, its no Avengers. Continuing the movie trend, the panel took time to make fun of Battleship and its lack of box office success. Finally, the panel discussed Prometheus and expressed some worries as to how good the movie will be.

To wrap the show up, the panel moved in to talking about video games. Some of the topics included a rumored Star Fox and Metroid combined game, the current list of games that will be displayed at E3, the record sales of Minecraft, and a conversation on indie game bundles. The big news this week is the release of Diablo 3. Since Chris and Naki have suck computers The Adahy was the only one to play while the rest of us drooled over the game in the livestream. The panel also discussed the details about The Avengers blu-ray release and massive amount of deleted scenes on the disc. Of course this then degenerated into a conversation about comic book movies. The panel took the time to take a shot at Green Lantern and mention that not all comic book movies have to be dark. It may work for Batman, but not really for Superman.

Moving on, the panel discussed Community and the greatness that was the 16-bit episode. After a discussion about Dan Harmon’s situation with the show we moved on to the Big Bang Theory and how the show might actually be hurting nerd culture.

The show wrapped by moving back into gaming. Topics included Kickstarter and how that service is helping create games and then of course the latest news from Blizzard. Finally, the panel discussed the rumor that a Lego Lord of the Rings game is coming soon.

Fair warning to everyone, The Avengers are discussed again, and there will be spoilers. This movie is far too good to pass up talking about!

The other topics this week included an update on the status of Star Wars: The Old Republic and its declining users, the rise of casual gaming and its impact on Nintendo and Sony, Zynga potentially suing to trademark the usage of ‘ville’, the announcement of Axe Cop the cartoon, the death of traditional TV viewing and the rise of the streaming movement, rumors about a Steam console, and making fun of the long delayed Starcraft Ghost. Also, there was a conversation about The Avengers and if that movie had made The Dark Knight Rises less exciting. The group thinks the movie will be good, but it will be a tough fight against The Avengers. Finally, there was a spirited debate about Maxim’s Gamergirl contest and whether this reinforces poor stereotypes. This topic will be back, we promise that!

This week we had a few technical difficulties that shortened the podcast. But that didn’t stop us from discussing a variety of topics. If you saw the Avengers you are in luck because we will discuss it. If you haven’t seen the movie yet all the Avengers coverage is at the end and we clearly state when the spoiler discussion will start. So you’re safe to listen in until then.

The other topics this week included the Elder Scrolls Online, specifically whether it is a good idea, the PS Vita’s sagging sales, the soon to release Diablo 3, the hate of Battleship the Movie, and how The Expendables 2 is a movie designed to appeal to men. Also, we spoke about the new Madden announcers, and the addition of multiplayer to the God of War franchise.
